I have recommended Ingrid Nilsen, MissGlamorazzi, on a few occasions previously. This time I’m recommending her because she is doing a DIY December series on her main channel. In these videos she does some Christmassy crafting and some Christmassy cooking every other day up in December until the 25th.
So far Ingrid has made a wreath with fairy lights, hot chocolate, a garland with rosemary and cocktails… and there’s still much more to come!
Check out her first few #DIYDecember videos below:
PS. Until January, I’ll be taking a break from posting, so I wish you all a very merry Christmas (or Holiday) and a very lovely New Years!

Cereal Time – Making Ourselves out of Cereal
GQ Magazine – Evolution of Hats: 400 Years in 3 Minutes (With Jim Chapman)
Ingrid Nilsen – Something I Want You To Know (Coming Out)
I wanted to add a little comment here, this video is in my TOP 5 today because I think no matter who you are or what your sexual orientation is I think this is a very inspiring video and it’s lovely to see Ingrid so happy at the end.

Today I’m recommending Ingrid Nilsen. If you’re eagle eyed or have been paying attention to my blog for long enough, you’ll know that I have actually recommended her YouTube channel, Miss Glamorazzi, before but since then she has updated her second channel and uses that on a regular basis too. Therefore, I’m revisiting my previous recommendation (which you can find here) and adding to it.
Just as a brief explanation if you don’t know who Ingrid Nilsen is. She is a beauty guru on YouTube who, on her main channel, posts videos about beauty, make-up and fashion and on her second channel, which I am recommending most today, she posts vlog-style videos.
On her second channel, TheGridMonster, Ingrid tended to post vlogs of all varieties, sometimes sit-down, sometimes follow-me-around daily vlogs, in the past. Not to say that this has stopped but rather the channel has undergone some renovation, let’s say. The channel is now regularly used for the uploads of a weekly series called 5 Minutes For Us. I think it’s such a great series and really talks about issues and topics in a very mature and real way. These videos are just so honest and I love that every episode is different and tackles different types of issues and so forth.
Here are a couple examples:
I want to mention this because I think it’s important: Ingrid stormed the internet with her inspiring coming out video. Not only has Ingrid become one of the first popular female and first Beauty Guru (as far as I know) to come out, she has also provided a video with a strong message, a message that everyone should have their best chance in life and just be them. Be proud to be you. Don’t apologise for being you. It doesn’t matter, like REALLY doesn’t matter, what your sexual orientation is, full stop, but it also doesn’t matter what your orientation is for you to find the video encouraging and for the message to be relevant. To see for yourself, the video is below:
It’s Christmas time, there’s no denying that and typically in the run up to the big day, many YouTubers take part in an event called Vlogmas. This means that they take the pledge to vlog daily until the 25th of December. I love watching these videos because it increases my own excitement and allows me to see Christmas in different places such as New York, London and Los Angeles. In this blog post, I want to recommend ten channels, with their first vlogmas video to get you equally excited for the special day.
1. Fleur DeForce – On Fleur’s vlogging channel ‘FleurDeVlog’ – Welcome to Vlogmas
2. Giovanna Fletcher – On Gi’s only channel ‘GiovannasWorld’ – We’re Sick!
3. Tom Fletcher – Giovanna’s Husband and member of McFly/McBusted – Get Over It
4. Jenna Ezarik – On Jenna’s main channel ‘ItsmeJennae’ – Not Crying
5. Ingrid Nilsen – On Ingrid’s vlogging channel ‘TheGridMonster’ – Vlogmas 2014 is here
6. Justine Ezarik – On her main channel ‘iJustine’ – I woke up like dis
7. Jim Chapman – On Jim’s vlogging channel ‘EveryDayJim’ -Vlogmas Day 1 – The BFAs
8. Tanya Burr – Jim’s fiance – Insane Handbags and British Fashion Awards!
9. In addition to Ingrid Nilsen’s vlogging videos, she is doing a series of festive videos on her main channel – MissGlamorazzi – DIY Cute and Easy Holiday Decor Ideas!
10. Meghan Camarena – On her main channel ‘Strawburry17’, she is doing a series of videos on her main channel – The Naughty List
Today I want to recommend MissGlamorazzi. Ingrid Nilsen is a make-up guru and vlogger on YouTube. Like many of the YouTubers I’ve recommended she’s been on the website sharing her videos since the very early years. This is her channel’s ‘blurb’; ‘Oh, hello! I’m Ingrid Nilsen and welcome to my little internet oasis! Get ready for beauty, fashion and healthy food how-to’s with a sprinkle of weird. The good kind of weird. I pinky promise!’ She also has a DIY series that she has called GIY – Glam it yourself. These are super unique and cute How to’s. I’ll have a couple as examples below.
Ingrid is a beautiful human being both inside and out. She is honestly the most down to earth and kind person I’ll ever have the pleasure of knowing and therefore you should visit her channel because she’ll most definitely brighten your day. She also recently won a Streamy Award and blew everyone away with her inspiring speech!
Again I’m keeping this brief so that I can give you a lot of examples of her videos instead, enjoy!
