Today’s food recommendation is Mini Beanies. These are adorable little biscuits that look a little like pizzas or even mini chocolate pizzas. I found these while shopping in the popular supermarket Asda. They’re super delicious and are made up of about four layers, from the bottom up: Layer 1 is the biscuit base, layer 2 is the milk flavoured creamy filling, layer 3 is milk chocolate and the final layer is the crunchy ‘choccie’ beans. The only downside to these biscuits is that they are very very unhealthy (I’ll let you see the ratings when you buy them) but for a lovely indulgent snack, which we all need from time to time, I totally recommend them.
Today, I’m going to do something a tiny bit different… Last week I recommended Cadbury’s Marvellous Mix Ups With Oreo and in that I said that I hadn’t tried the With Maynards version. So this week, with both packets still on special offer I’ve decided to try the Maynards version and write up my reaction here.
Without opening the packet, my initial reaction to the involvement of sweets is a negative one as I don’t like the combination of sweets and chocolate. This was proved when I tried Cadbury’s Marvellous Creations with the Jelly pieces inside, I thought that was awful. Fortunately, the sweets in this case are not masked within the chocolate and I don’t have to eat them with the chocolate.
- Cadbury’s caramel nibbles
- Maynard’s Jellies (Several Varieties)
- Cadbury’s Fudge Dream
I’ve now opened the packet… It smells nice and the sweets/chocolates within are a lot bigger than I expected. I’ve started with trying the sweets, they’re quite nice. Onto the caramel nibbles, delicious! I’ve always love these. Time for the Fudge… normally, I’m not great with Fudge; I like some but not most. That’s delicious too!
I’m genuinely surprised at how good these are! Even the combination of the sweets and the chocolate is good, something I was definitely not expecting. I honestly recommend these… What I thought would only be a reaction blog turned out to be another recommendation… awesome.
Today’s food recommendation is the Cadbury Dairy Milk Marvellous Mix-Ups, more specifically the ‘with Oreo’ version as I haven’t yet tried the ‘with Maynards’ version.
I first tried these when they first came out as they were on offer. I do tend to get bags like this only when they are on offer because the full price always seems a bit steep for the amount (111g) of chocolate you get. Anyway, I absolutely love them.
I think their concept is really interesting and new. If I got a pound for every time someone wished that there was a pack of different chocolates mixed into one so that they didn’t have to pay for four separate bags, for example, I would be the richest person on Earth ten times over. Not only is it a mixture of four different products in one packet it is also a packet of brilliant chocolates.
So what’s inside?
- Cadbury Dairy Milk Giant Buttons
- Cadbury Pebbles
- Cadbury White Buttons
- Mini Oreos.
If you like chocolate, who doesn’t, and you like these products and won’t die because you’re allergic or something, I urge you to try this product if you haven’t yet.
